Project X Lacrosse brings new experience for players

Picture
With the disruptions of last year fading from view, Triple Crown Sports is excited to announce details for the 2021 Project X Lacrosse camps, scheduled for Aug. 6-8 in Salt Lake City, UT. College coaches guide all the drills and programming, so players can get recharged after losing playing time due to the pandemic.

Project X is built on two platforms — the Bridge Program, for graduating seniors (men and women) committed to play in college, and the DNA Youth Camp for up and coming youth (K-8th) players (boys and girls) looking to be taught by DI college coaches.

BRIDGE PROGRAM — Daily games against the right competition, with athletes getting to play with future teammates and against future opponents. While your skills are refined, you will also be prepared mentally to make the transition to compete and contribute at the college level.

Navy Seals training, seminars and workshops round out your stay in SLC, and each player will receive an EPOCH stick, bag and custom uniform.

DNA CAMP — High-value 1v1 instruction designed to encourage individual development, team skills, and lacrosse IQ with players learning more about the competitive mindset needed to excel in the sport.

The best coaching minds in the game will be shoulder-to-shoulder with young athletes, digging into the details and determined to help each player grow.

The camp will be led by DI college coaches.

"With so many high school players losing their opportunity to play lacrosse the past two years due to COVID-19, Project X will allow them to learn the skills and techniques needed to succeed in college. It’s also one more opportunity to play with future teammates and opponents in Salt Lake City.  Coached by their future coaches, this one-of-a-kind experience will prepare all high school players to cross the 'bridge' into NCAA and MCLA lacrosse. The three-day immersion is the perfect preparation for college lacrosse and the opportunity to play and prepare one more time before school begins in late August/September.”

-Tom West, Crabs Lacrosse

"Project X provides a unique opportunity for committed lacrosse players to compete with and against future colleagues. The experience offered in Salt Lake City will help bridge the gap between high school and college.  There will be an experienced group of collegiate coaches to train, mentor and advise each player. And we get the pleasure of being in Salt Lake City, which offers not only a beautiful lacrosse venue but also many family fun activities."

-Kyle Hannan, Team 24/7 Lacrosse
